aftermath of vietnam
finally i got some time to work on this. I have been back for a while now from vietnam. So let me share some experience from it. It was pretty good. Even Tiger Airways was quite alright!
We stayed at REX HOTEL. One of the oldest hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
It was a nice hotel and we got FREE breakfast on the first day! Even before we check in!! ahahaha...
The big thing about Ho Chi Minh was Bin Thai Market. It was like a 5min walk from our hotel. The market is much like the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok, but instead of being in the weekend. It is a daily thing and early in the morning 9am-10am it has start already!
As Jessica has been here before, she brought me to a nice cafe. Their cafe are very intresitng as it is suitated a some small corner back alley kind. It is very intresting. I believe that vietnam has a lot of culture hidden within the city. The building are great and very beauitful.
And for food wise, I feel that the food here is much suited to my taste. In Bangkok, I find some of the stuff was a little too 'different' for my liking. For vietnam, it was quite dencet and quite cheap. We had one meal that was all seafood. That bill comes up to be about 30+ Singapore dollars. For two person, with prawns, veggie, sotong, hot pot rice and beer and chicken. That is pretty decent.
And of course there is the BEEF NOODLES!!! Which i can eat everyday!!! The place that we went to was apprently open by a japanese. The whole place is decoreated with strange antique funiture mostly with teak wood. And witha BIG white horse statue right in the middle of the stairways!! And the food was pretty good as well!
The night at Ho Chi Ming is quite nice. We spend the time walking around and taking some picture. This is taken by Jessica right out side our hotel.
I guess this is a quick update. I didn't take to many pictures. As I was too busy relaxing!! There is a lot of cafe that is really nice. And I think that it is a nice place to relax... not like bangkok that u shop shop shop!! Maybe next time can go back and relax and look around more.
